Duchess of Cambridge steals spotlight from Federer in Royal appearance at Wimbledon final

The pair arrived at the All England Club in time for the men’s final between the Swiss legend and Croatian Marin Čilić.

But despite Federer winning the first set 6-3, it was who stole the show early on in a beautiful white dress with a floral design.

She kept it simple, accessoring only with a Wimbledon-themed bow.

The Royals were joined by a host of big names at the final, including Oscar-winning actor Eddie Redmayne, Spiderman actor Andrew Garfield.

The Mayor of London Sadiq Khan and Prime Minister Theresa May and her husband Philip are also taking in the final.

Prince William looked sharp in a grey suit, dark blue tie and trousers.

Pippa Middleton sat with her mother Carole, albeit in the general seating area.

The Duchess watched on as Federer won his eight Wimbledon title today.

He dispatched Cilic in three sets, 6-3, 6-1 and 6-4.
